Rephyn is an AI-powered tool that simplifies legal documents by translating complex legal language into plain English. The Service processes documents entirely on your device using on-device AI technology.

3. Not Legal Advice

Important: Rephyn is an educational and informational tool only. The Service does not provide legal advice, and its output should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel.

You should always consult with a qualified attorney before making legal decisions or signing important documents. Rephyn makes no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of its document analysis.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Subscription and Payments

Free Trial

New users receive a 3-day free trial with full access to all features.

Paid Subscriptions

After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the AI model
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI technology, design, and branding, is owned by Rephyn and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any documents you analyze using the Service.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPHYN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rephyn operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
